Bazaar Video Installation I worked in a street bazaar as a seller and I sold summer clothing. I was in a touristic bazaar which was the center of the global econonomy. I produced a project on this event. This was really interesting for me because I refused my artistic identity as I was working on this project. I was both an insider and an outsider ,and I also gained some money. The project consists of 70 photos that I have chosen and a video of the event. The photos reflect the insider point of view to the bazaar life with all those sellers, costumers, tourists and the native people. Including the project, the video contains only the feet of the people in the bazaar. We can realize the effects of the Western globalisation on the people of my country. These images also reflect the contradiction of the Western and the Eastern Worlds. I believe that these situations create a different understanding of aesthetic values which I am interested in to investigate.
