Foto- Grave

"Photo-Grave" is a research on the image of death and grave which consists of series of photos. I started to work on the project on 2002 and continued adding new pieces to the work. I took photos about death and grave from different areas of life, different places and on different objects from my perspective. In contrary to the pornographic image of death which is presented to us by the televisions, I struggled to develop the personal point of view to the subject and tried to remove the cliché visions inside us. This project is made of repetitive, similar, unplanned photos and they are all connected to each other by the association of the ideas. It has a meaning only if the pieces are all together.

Foto-Yerleştirme, Apartman Projesi

"Foto- Mezar" adlı çalışmam, Ölüm ve mezar imgesi üzerine bir araştırmadır. Bir seri fotoğraftan oluşan bu çalışmaya 2002 yılında başladım ve her yıl buna yenilerini ekledim. Mezar imgesini ve ölümü ,hayatın çeşitli alanlarında, çeşitli yerlerde, nesnelerde, kendi bakış açımdan fotoğrafladım..Ölümün bize gazete ve televizyonlarda sürekli sunulan pornografik imgesine karşı; bireysel bakış açısını geliştirmeyi ama bununla birlikte içimize kazınmış olan klişe görüntülerin de yüzeye çıkmasıyla uğraştım. Yineleyen, çağrıştıran , genellikle kurgusuz fotoğraflardan oluşan bu çalışmada , imgeler birbirine çağrışım zinciriyle bağlanıyorlar ve hepsi birarada oldukları zaman bir anlam taşıyorlar.
