Consume, Youth and Objects
We want to buy- we are conditioned to do so. We increase and add more and more to our belongings(possessions). Different things, but yet very much the same… Similar clothing,furniture, designs, fashion, hair styles, shoes… Not everything we purchase, bares the traces of the status or the culture we live in anymore-most of it is just a part of the global life. This photo-installation, my first step to analyze this feeling of similitude and encircledness is a sixteen year old girl. She loves to consume and by doing so, she increases her meaning of being. A young girl on the brink of becoming a woman, who’s fine tuning of pleasure is pro-designed by her family and surroundings… I took her photo and her possessions in her room. This gave me the oppurtunity to see some parts of her world and to discover her personality. This photograph seems to be very personal but it is actually very general throughout the youth.

Tüketim, Gençlik ve Nesneler…
Satın almak istiyoruz, buna koşulluyuz.Eşyalarımıza yenilerini eklemek,çoğaltmak istiyoruz.Çeşit çeşit ama aslında birbirine benzer nesneler..Benzer kıyafetler,mobilyalar, tasarımlar, moda, saç kesimleri, ayakkabılar …satın aldığımız her şey bulunduğumuz sınıfın, kültürün izlerini de taşımıyor artık, sadece global hayatın bir parçası…Bu benzerlik ve kuşatılmışlık duygusunu incelemek için başladığım foto- enstalasyon serisinin ilk basamağı 16 yaşında bir genç kız.Tüketimi seven, onunla varoluşuna anlam katan, aile ve çevre tarafından zevkinin incelikleri şekillenmiş, hayata geçiş döneminde bir  kadın.Onun odasında ki eşyaları ve kendisini fotoğrafladım, içinde onun dünyasının ve kişiselliğinin parçalarına da rastladım.Bu fotoğraflama işlemi devam ediyor son derece özel gibi gözükenden genele açılmak, başka kişilerle ve yine gençlerle devam edecek.
