"Two partridges" shows the contradictions and ironies in İstanbul. The folksongs at the background, in the place where they constructed an artificial stream with the plastic flowers around it, there are two young women in very modern clothes eating local food and drinking diet cokes. They seem as they are talking about their personal problems but in a cold manner. The combination of these two opposite worlds, the lyrics of the folksong, the locality and the young women clearly reflects the contradictions in the city and investigates the process of modernism.

İki keklik, İstanbulda yaşanan çelişkileri,zıtlıkları, ironik bir şekilde ele alıyor..Fonda çalan türkü eşliğinde, köyden kente geçişin yeni estetiğini oluşturan, plastik çiçekler, yapay dereden akan sulardan adeta plastik bir doğa manzarasının kurulmuş olduğu bir mekanda, iki genç kız oldukça modern, şehrin havasının, hızının da ötesinde ki giyim tarzları ile yöresel yemekleri yiyip, diet kola içiyorlar.Gayet soğunkanlı ama sanki kişisel dünyalarından ,sorunlarından bahsedermişcesine konuşup, sohbet ediyorlar. Bu ayrı dünyaların birleşimi , türkünün sözleri, mekan ve genç kızlar,  şehrin içindeki çelişkilerin altını çiziyor..Ve modernleşme sürecindeki  kopukluğu  inceliyor.
